IN 2000 EVERYTHING AND AFRICA WAS BORN PRIMARILY OFFERING HELICOPTER
SAFARIS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN AFRICA.........EXCLUSIVE.....BUT TRULY THE
ULTIMATE WAY OF EXPLORING AFRICA
My partner and I started a Helicopter "game capture" business in 1994
concentrating on specializing in the capture of wild animals in South
Africa and our neighboring countries.
I had the privilege of flying around South Africa in a helicopter for 10
years as I accompanied my partner doing game capture and relocation of
wild animals.
Often flying with him as he herded every known species of antelope to a
capture boma.....or flying in the Kruger Park or out of the Park with him
as we did chemical capture with veterinarians darting Rhino, Buffalo and
Elephant.
I either flew with him in the helicopter or worked on the ground pulling
"curtains" to enclose the captured animals and herding them onto the
awaiting trucks, carted helicopter fuel around the country, often cooking
dinners on a camp fire for the team, tranquilized and sedated the captured
animals, loaded and helped with the transportation
IT WAS DURING THIS TIME THAT MY GREAT LOVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY BEGAN AND I HAD
THE WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY OF CAPTURING OUR WAY OF LIFE AND ALL THE MOMENTS
