My background
I am fortunate to have inherited
artistic genes from both my father and
mother, my father being one of South Africa's renowned sculptors, Bobby
Lawrence.
I studied ceramics in Italy and speak a good Italian, and with the inspiration
of my photographs, and my love of wild life, my current passion besides
travel, is painting wall hangings.

and when time allows, I return to Italy to paint ceramics, as only there
you
can get the rich colours of Mijolica.
I have spent most of my life in the bush involved in conservation and with
wild animals, a trait that has come through each generation of my family -
the love of the bush, animals and art.
In 1983 I had the great privilege of joining the band Supertramp, on
their last world tour as a group.
During the summer of '83 I had the joy of traveling around Europe with
this great band and its wonderful people
